And now a look at Chanel Spring 2009 Ready-to-Wear, which is hitting stores now. Check out the half sheer/half opaque tights and the leather shopping bag, which is the new “IT” bag of the season. I recently read of Karl’s love of shopping bags and how he saves all of the amazing shopping bags in which he receives (from uhhmazing stores from uhhmazing cities around the world…gosh). Nonetheless, he wanted to make one that could outlast time. Thus, a leather Chanel shopping satchel in the shape of a Chanel paper bag. This bag is exactly THE bag that girls like us are going to be rummaging through estate sales and thrift stores in search of–fifty years from now. I probably wouldn’t buy one new. I’d want it vintage, too. Nonetheless, sit back and watch. Eye candy alert.
