Feast Your Eyes: Selfridge’s Oxford Street.
A Visual Merchandiser’s wet dream
Here’s a look at one of the top department stores on the High street and their breath-takingly gorgeous window displays. The theme “By the Grace of Light,” ties in modernity, futurism, and classic Roman themes. You can tell the difference between Grecian and Roman by their pillars. (Ha!) All in all, it looks like a surreal painting–extremely inspiring. It almost makes walking down Oxford on cold nights and weekends bearable…almost. Whoever the Visual Merchandiser is, (I should’ve really looked this up, oops!) I’m severely impressed. It truly is art. Enjoy!
