Christian Siriano X Payless

So Christian Siriano was on Project Runway. He had his 15 minutes..and a little bit more. Turns out he gets to make a shoeline…for Payless. Okay okay, yeah they look pretty cool. But take ‘em off the runway and throw ‘em in a box in the bottom row at the gross Payless in your local townsquare mall. Tell me if you buy those knock-offs for $45 and they last more than 5 nights. No really, I want to know how they feel. I also want to know how the weight distribution is. I’m down with the five dollar K-Mart slip on sneaks that I buy stock in over the summer. However, trusting my feet to a pair of 4-inch-heels from Payless is a whole ‘nother situation. I barely made it through my 6th grade graduation wearing a pair of white, peep-toe, 1-inch-kitten-heeled sandals from Payless. I made an oath to myself (and my feet) that I would never put myself through that ever again. Bandaids, blisters, bleeding…just way too much b-words. If there is one thing that I will save my pennies for, it’s shoes. You could wear a a whole outfit worth $10 dollars, as long as your shoes are clean (and uhhmazing)…you’ll look perfect. Beautiful shoes are key. These? I’m not so sure.
