nail’d to the wall: don’t do orange.

According to The Boston Globe, if you are planning to rob a bank–you might want to wear gloves. Please take note:
“A woman suspected of robbing a bank in Chelsea yesterday eluded police for a half-hour before being identified by her flashy orange fingernails, police said. The woman entered Sovereign Bank on Everett Avenue at 9:45 a.m. and handed a note to the teller demanding money, according to police. The teller complied and the suspect fled with a reported $450, police said. A construction worker working nearby saw the suspect, wrote down her license plate number, and gave it to Chelsea police. Witnesses inside the bank told police that the suspect was wearing bright burnt orange fingernail polish. Within minutes of talking to witnesses, police located the vehicle and arrested Margaret Christie, 53.” Taken from Yesterday’s news.

Nail Spot: Green Nails at the Graham stop off the L train into Brooklyn. Make sure to stop by Dolly G’s, a favorite vintage spot right down the street on Graham Ave. Giselle is uhhmazing and I love her and she selects the best vintage pieces for her customers. She even has size 9 shoes (which is my size and is usually impossible to find at vintage spots). Everything is EXTREMELY well-priced and I’d say is actually worth the into Brooklyn. Atlantis Avenue is right around the corner as well. This is a thrift store as it is owned by the same guys as Vice Versa aveThe Morgan Avenue Warehouse, however I think the prices are going up as of late. Anyways, go to Green Nails. It’s right next to the Dunkin’ Donuts so you can stop there and snag a Coffee Coolatta for a mere 350 calories before your pedi-yummm!
Primary Base Color: Essie Shorty Shorts (in other words: flourescent pink). This is my :go:to: color. I know I will never be upset with it. I have had too many shitty color combo’s after paying $60 to be upset for three weeks about a bad color choice.
What I asked for (in regards to the design): “Uhm can you just like do some hearts and you knowww–make them really cute like you always do?”
got my toe’s matchin’ in regards to the Shorty Shorts, but never get any designs did on those little piggies. I like how they look. I know I know–hearts are so last month. Just call me a trend follower.
