“It’s 51 degrees in NYC, your Daily Looks are…”

We love it. We can’t get enough of it. It’s like if you collided your favorite fashion mag with your favorite online shopping site with your favorite social network. It’s amazing. It is StyleCaster.

The newest in online fashion madness. As a StyleCaster user, you will have your own profile, which is a lot like a profile one would have on Myspace or Facebook–if either of those cared about your personal style. You download profile pictures, talk about your favorite designers and brands, create an inspiration board (just like you would have over your desk or sewing machine), and even create a closet with items that only YOU adore. It’s easy. It’s simple. It’s actually perfect.

So how do they do it? How does this internet site learn all about you and your fashion loves and hates? Lets get a bit more detailed without wasting the “ooooo and ahhhh” aspect for all of you. When you create a profile, you tell them where you are from. Okay, so I type in that I wake up everyday in Brooklyn, NY. Boom–I’ve got the weather for the day and three “daily looks” that possibly match my lifestyle. From there, I am able to state whether I love or hate those three looks. I can even click on each individual piece of the “look” and either A) Add it to my closet, B) Say that I hate it, or C) State my indifference. If I tell StyleCaster that I just detest that mustard color Tory Burch frock? Then BAM–I’ll never see that frock again. I might see other frocks and I might see other pieces from Tory Burch, but StyleCaster will know that I really did not like that style of dress and I would rather not see it ever again. The more I tell StyleCaster–the more it learns about me and my individual style. How fun does this sound? Oh yes. It is.

The Camarilla is in midst of creating our own StyleCaster profile as we speak. Find us in the “Community” to see what we have in our closet. StyleCaster is still in its beta version, but all ‘Rilla Readers get a head start using the site before the rest of the world via this VIP link. Yes that is why you love us…and soon you will love StyleCaster, too. Have fun!

xo,
theRilla.

PS: They even direct you to the site in which you can buy those favorite items you have added to your online wardrobe. Ohhh and don’t forget to sign up to receive daily emails from StyleCaster–they send you sales in your area along with other important info that you won’t find anywhere else. Okay, we’re starting to sound like we work for them. D’claimR: We don’t.

so this is interesting.

As I actually don’t do very often at all, I was perusing Daily Mail, this morning when I stubled across this little picture of model, Alice Dellai wearing this outfit shown below to the ICA Figures of Speech party:

Hmm. I cannot lie. I am down with the whole “bikerishchic” look as this is 1/2 my stylecode. However, I have NO idea what this is.  I have nothing else to say except for, “So this is interesting. A bit confusing, but interesting nonetheless.” Take from it what you will. I don’t get it. And while I am posting Alice, I minuswell post this picture of Pixie Geldof–who (I should add) is my more favorite of the two Geldof messes.  This get up by date to the event, Henry Holland,  is pretty alright in my opinion.  When she doubles the outfit, she doesn’t look half bad.
